Eddie has been practicing taekwondo for 30 years and started his first club at Lancaster University in 1999. Since then Eddie has opened clubs across the Northwest and has taught and graded hundreds of people, many of whom have gone on to gain the ultimate achievement - their black belt.
Eddie is a full time taekwondo and PE teacher working tirelessly in schools and leisure centres across the Northwest to encourage people of all ages to do more sport and keep fit.
Eddie was National Sparring Champion in 1987 and gained bronze medal in the 1989 Olympic team trials. He is keen to pass on this knowledge of sparring technique along with his extensive poomsae knowledge as a National Class B Judge.
Eddie knows that you never stop learning and so trains regularly with Master Ian Lennox, 7th Dan, the BTCB Technical Director and with Master Steve Baker 6th Dan Ju Jitsu and loves to share his new knowledge with his students.

Becky started Taekwondo in 2002 when she joined Lancaster University. She was the first university student at Lancaster to go from white belt to black belt and since then has helped many others also achieve this.
Becky is a keen instructor and has a club in Lancaster with Alex which has been running since 2009 (link) and teaches at Lancaster University every Monday night (link).
Becky currently trains with the National Poomsae squad and has represented Great Britain at the 2009 European Poomsae Championships. She trains with Master Gemma Biescas (the National Coach) once a month and Grand Master Shin as often as possible to enable her to be at the top of her game and will always pass on her knowledge to students in the hope that they will also join her on the national squad.
